From One Dog's Life, a Pack Was Born —
A journey of love, loss, and learning
“He wasn't just my first dog — he was my first teacher.”
I've lived around dogs all my life. I didn't grow up training them — I grew up observing them.
In 2015, Webby came into my life. He was my first dog, and he changed everything.
I didn't want a pet I could control. I wanted a deep relationship — built on communication, not commands. Every training institute I turned to focused on obedience, not understanding. No one taught dog psychology. No one taught how to truly connect. So, I started learning. Not to train Webby, but to understand him.
Webby came into Sunny's life, sparking a journey to understand dog psychology beyond traditional training.
Hosting sessions focused on observation, communication, and building trust between dogs and their humans.
Moving to a quiet hill near Pune to observe and learn from street dogs in their natural environment.
Losing Webby to tick fever became the turning point, leading to a deeper focus on preventative health.
Building a growing platform with tools, guides, and community resources to help dog parents everywhere.
I watched dogs raise each other without commands, treats, or leashes. They led with calm energy, corrected each other with subtle cues, and lived in harmony.
They were balanced.
They were whole.
They were everything we try to “train” into our pets — but forget to observe.
In 2020, I lost Webby to tick fever. And everything stopped.
His loss shattered me — but it also awakened a new purpose. I promised I would never stop learning, and I would help others never feel helpless the way I did.
I turned my focus to health. I studied how diet, environment, and lifestyle affect dogs — and how most illnesses are preventable with the right knowledge.
Today, OhMyDog.Rocks is a growing ecosystem built in Webby's memory. Everything we create — every guide, tool, course, or comic — is shaped by his legacy.
